Mains Cottage can be found just outside Greystoke village, between Keswick and Penrith with easy access to Ullswater, Glenridding and Patterdale. A recently converted sandstone detached cottage [19th century] can be found half a mile out of this delightful village. Well equipped and furnished to a good standard, it stands in a pleasant garden on a quiet country road with views of local countryside. Close to the edge of the National Park,
a good center for exploring the northern fells, [John Peel Country] the Eden Valley and the Roman Wall.
